Calypso was born from a love of colour, travel and beautiful textiles — clothes with a sense of personality, unexpected details, and pieces that make you feel good the moment you put them on.
Founded by Natascha and Monisha, Calypso brings together a love of beautiful fabrics, a passion for fashion, and a belief that getting dressed should feel effortless, joyful and a little bit special. Every collection is made to travel with you, work across occasions, and become the piece you reach for again and again.
Two backgrounds / One character
Calypso began with a simple idea: fashion should feel joyful. It has always been about discovering a beautiful fabric, falling in love with a print, or putting something on that simply feels like you.
Our collections bring together the richness of Indian textiles — colour, craftsmanship and intricate print — with the relaxed confidence of an Australian sensibility. Somewhere between these two influences, Calypso found its character:
